BOISE, Idaho – Delta Dental of Idaho has announced the recipients of its Fall 2024 Oral Health Grant Program, awarding $177,000 in grants to four organizations across the state. These grants aim to enhance access to dental care and raise awareness about oral health issues.
The four organizations receiving funding are:
Adams County Health Center (ACHC): Awarded $50,000 to upgrade dental equipment and install the American Dental Association’s (ADA) TV system, designed to improve patient education and experience.
Central District Health (CDH): Awarded $39,120 to fund the “CDH Youth Oral Health” program, which provides school-based sealant and fluoride varnish treatments to boost oral health among children in the area.
College of Southern Idaho (CSI) Foundation: Awarded $42,850 for the “CSI Dental Workforce and Clinical Support” initiative. This project will offer an online dental assisting course, purchase clinic equipment, and provide financial assistance for clinic services for patients in need.
Snake River Community Clinic (SRCC): Awarded $45,100 for the “AMP Up the Safety-Net Dental Clinic” program, which will help expand the clinic’s capacity to provide essential dental services to underserved communities.
These grants reflect Delta Dental’s commitment to improving oral health in Idaho by supporting impactful programs and organizations.
