Rajan Dental Institute, in collaboration with the Indian Dental Association and the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI) – Tamil Nadu and Puducherry branch, hosted a dental implant conclave on Sunday.
The event, which aimed to highlight the latest developments in implant dentistry, featured R. Manikandan, the national president of AOMSI, and K. Arun Kumar, the honorary secretary, who presented awards to outstanding alumni as well as winners of a quiz and case presentation competition.
Gunaseelan Rajan, the medical director of the institute, alongside professors R. Hariharan and M. Shiva Shankar, shared insights into the cutting-edge trends and innovations in implant dentistry.
Dr. Rajan led an interactive surgical session, showcasing advanced techniques in zygomatic implants. Additionally, a panel discussion was held on recent advancements in dental implantology.
