Heartland Dental Plans New Project in Middleburg

by Audrey

Clay County officials are currently reviewing a development proposal for a new Heartland Dental site in Middleburg. The application, submitted by Pensacola-based WMG Development, seeks approval for a project that will divide an undeveloped 1.65-acre parcel along County Road 220.

The project site, located at 2524 County Road 220, is situated about half a mile east of Florida Highway 224. The proposal includes plans for a shared driveway, facilitating access to the property.

In 2022, Granger Development & Brokerage Services Inc., based in Pensacola, purchased the property for $425,000. KPM Franklin, a civil engineering firm from Kissimmee, is overseeing the engineering work for the project.

The county’s Development Review Committee is scheduled to review the plans at a meeting on January 9.

Heartland Dental, established in 1995, operates over 1,700 locations across 39 states and the District of Columbia. The company provides nonclinical administrative support to more than 2,800 dental professionals, according to its website.

Each Heartland office features its own distinct branding, name, and logo.

Heartland Dental is owned by KKR, a global investment firm with a portfolio of more than 200 companies and over $149 billion in investments.
