Premier Dental Wellness held its 9th annual “Gift of Dentistry” event this December, offering free dental care to those in need. Dr. Richard Marz and his team, alongside the East Georgia Center for Oral Surgery, provided essential dental services to 98 patients.
The event operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with patients lining up early for triage. Last year, the event helped more than 100 people, and this year, the team was able to serve 98 patients, offering services such as fillings, cleanings, and extractions. Dr. Marz, his associate Dr. Christian Walker, and the Premier Dental hygienists volunteered their time to perform cleanings and fillings throughout the day.
The East Georgia Center for Oral and Facial Surgery contributed by providing extractions, with Dr. Suketu Patel, Dr. Sellers, and Dr. Uribe leading their team. Dr. Patel emphasized the importance of the event, saying, “Our doctors and staff really enjoy this opportunity to help those in need. Many in our community suffer from dental pain because they cannot afford treatment. We hope this event brings relief and a brighter smile just in time for the holidays.”
Dr. Marz expressed his gratitude for the ongoing support of the event, adding, “We are thankful for the opportunity to give back to a community that has supported us so much.”
