TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) — Dental Excellence is once again giving back to the community by offering free dental care during its annual Smiles from the Heart event, set to take place on April 25.
The event will be held at the Dental Excellence locations in both Napoleon and Delta. On that day, individuals in need of dental care can receive one of the following services at no cost: a cleaning, a filling, or a tooth extraction. Care will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with up to 100 patients accepted at the Napoleon office and 50 patients at the Delta location.
Dr. Michael Carpenter, Founder and CEO of Dental Excellence, emphasized the importance of helping those who may not have access to regular dental care.
“Good oral health is essential to your overall well-being,” Dr. Carpenter said. “But we know that many people in our community struggle to access the care they need. Smiles from the Heart is our way of making a difference, one smile at a time.”
Doors will open at 7:45 a.m. at both offices. Patients are encouraged to arrive early to secure their place in line.
Appointments will not be scheduled in advance. Dental Excellence is advising participants to prepare for potentially long wait times due to high turnout, based on experiences from previous years.
The Smiles from the Heart event is part of Dental Excellence’s ongoing mission to support the local community by improving access to essential dental services.
